Eco-system work space designed starting with the people. No longer simply defined by the elements it contains, ergonomic proportions and “prossemic” distances. Architectural space is designed starting with a more profound concept: an “anthropised network” in which the environment, people and their wellbeing are factors dictating the quality of the entire system.
An office work space that is “efficient” and vibrant, stimulating people to grow and interact with the network where they work. A space where people feel at ease, where they can act in a natural and spontaneous way and where communication is facilitated and faster. A tangible eco-sustainable scenario, created for transferring all those activities that are normally part of the domestic private sphere, going beyond a superficial make-over.
Designing emotional landscapes for work spaces means exploiting "informal spaces", delimiting those spaces that "belong" to individual workers, while enhancing the collateral areas - spaces "to be discovered" and reinvented together with colleagues (transit areas, visiting zones, thinking areas, coffee-breakout areas, meeting spaces, etc.…). This is the concept underpinning the contemporary workplace, transforming anonymous space in corporate spaces, spaces that people can exploit but also spaces to be discovered. A boundary landscape, a far cry from routine and an ally of creativity.
